E-BOOKS AND AUDIOBOOKS

Not all library books are printed on paper. We also provide access to books to read on your computer or for listening on a variety of audio devices!

E-BOOKS

The library currently provides access to eBooks that may be read on your computer screen at the library or at home. Most of the titles available are non-fiction and suitable for reference or reseach.

To view eBooks from NetLibrary, you must visit the library first to set up a free account. Once you have done this, you may log in (using the username and password you created) from any computer with an Internet connection.

E-Books are also available on many of our Online Databases. Most require you to log in using your 14-digit library card number.

AUDIOBOOKS

Audiobooks (also known as Talking Books) are also available at the library. CDs and cassettes containing audio versions of popular novels or non-fiction works may be borrowed on your library card.

The library website also provides access to downloadable audiobooks. Select one of the following:

OverDrive: Download audiobooks powered by OverDrive to your computer or personal listening device from home or at the library's download station. (iPod compatible).
Be sure to take the Download Digital Media Guided Tour before starting.
Funded by the Ontario Ministry of Culture's $15 million investment in public libraries through SOLS in collaboration with OLS-North
Login: Library Card Number + PIN.

NetLibrary: Download eAudiobooks to your computer or a personal listening device at the library or from your home computer.
